About Tosh

Testimony and current ministry

Tosh grew up in church, and was baptized at First Baptist Piedmont in 1995.

While in youth ministry, Tosh found himself as the oldest youth in the 10th grade. He stepped into helping with the media ministry, leading small groups in children's ministry, teaching at VBS, and working as a sponsor for youth camp during his junior and senior years of high school. The summer before his senior year, as a sponsor leading a small group and as the leader of the decision team, Tosh felt the call to ministry. During a worship song in the Tab at Falls Creek, time stood still, and he remembers looking around and feeling a deep desire to lead people to experience the presence of God.

After he graduated college, Tosh went to seminary at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating with his M.Div. During seminary and afterwards, he volunteered and was on staff at churches in the Kansas City area.

In 2019, Tosh took a call to First Baptist Waynoka, OK to be their pastor.

Currently, Tosh is working full time at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK and volunteering at First Baptist Alva where he teaches Sunday School and Wednesday night ministries, runs sound, and occasionally preaches at college gatherings and in Sunday Service.
